Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY


Responsible for supporting all areas of marketing and communications strategy from the development and planning through execution and performance measurement. This will include areas such as assisting with market research, implementing marketing plans and campaigns, organizing events, and maintaining the HSS website and other social media marketing tools plus managing online inquiries.


 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES



  • Provides coordination of marketing plans

  • Provides marketing project management support

  • Provides assistance in terms of collateral logistics to events involving marketing exhibits (conferences, tradeshows)

  • Assists in writing and editing sales and marketing literature, newsletters, etc. ensuring valid, current and accurate content

  • Writes and distributes press releases, case studies, white papers and executive communications

  • Responsible for website and social media content updates

  • Responsible for website communication activity and related updates of the CRM

  • Acts as liaison between advertising agencies and the company, print suppliers, freelance talent, and various marketing services.

  • Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of ongoing marketing communications activities

  • Budget management assistance

  • Recommends and assists with implementation of division policies and procedures

  • Other duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS



  • Associates Degree required, higher education degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business administration or a related subject is desirable

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

  • Highly organized and able to problem solve

  • Strong aptitude for customer service

  • Web maintenance / e-marketing experience, with a good working knowledge of social media marketing tools, Google rankings and search engine optimization is desirable

  • Able to demonstrate solid working knowledge of all service and product lines of the organization and the needs of each division

  • Able to work individually as well as part of a team

  • Good time management and planning skills

  • Able to meet multiple project deadlines and demonstrate good attention to detail

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Adobe Photoshop and Constant Contact would be advantageous

  • Maintain a current and valid driver's license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS


While performing the duties of this position, individual may be required to sit for extended periods using computer and telephone equipment in a typical office setting. May also spend time walking and standing. May lift and carry up to 50lbs. Will use normal range of vision, hearing, and speaking. Frequently engages in mental concentration, analysis and formulation. While visiting client locations, individual may occasionally be exposed to changes in temperatures, humidity, chemicals, bodily fluids, and other conditions commonly found in client environments. Ability to drive a vehicle.
