Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Represents HSS and serves as a highly visible first point of contact for the company. Presents a professional and credible image of the company and provides excellent customer service and a warm welcome for all parties entering the HSS office. Provides information regarding activities conducted at HSS; location of departments, offices, and employees within organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
* Answer, screen and forward calls, provides information and takes messages.
* Greets and provides a warm welcome to employees, applicants, new hires, clients, and visitors entering the office, determines nature and purpose of visit, and directs or escorts them to specific destinations.
* Monitors visitor access and issues passes when required.
* Provides and assists applicants with creating online profiles, applications and setting up assessments.
* Performs administrative support tasks such as data entry and processing new hire forms.
* Prepare New Hire Packets and Black Box Contents to Satellite offices.
* Provide information about HSS such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
* Works and interacts with current employees and applicants, clients, sales representatives, vendors, guests, and visitors.
* Back up support to uniforms and compliance. Receive uniforms from exiting employees.
* Back up support for input of background checks in high volume situations.
* Provide shipping and mailing for HR department.
* Receive packages and call the recipients.
* Ensure packages and mail and sent out on a daily basis.
* Other duties as assigned

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.

QUALIFICATIONS
* High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
* Minimum 1 year of office administrative experience
* Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to perform duties with discretion, and confidentiality

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this position, individual may be required to sit for extended periods in a typical office environment using telephones and computer equipment. Use of normal range of vision, hearing, and speaking. Occasionally may lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 lbs.
